Chennai: As part of the preparations for the Lok Sabha elections, DMK president M K Stalin today said the candidates who will contest from the DMK seats will be announced in two or three days.
Addressing mediapersons at Anna Arivalayam today, Stalin said the constituencies allotted to the alliance parties will be announced in a couple of days.
When asked about the alliance confusions in DMDK, Stalin refused to comment and said the party treasurer M Durai Murugan had already spoken about it.
Stalin also thanked the parties that have extended their support to the DMK alliance this morning. Earlier in the day, members of fourteen parties including Perunthalaivar Makkal Katchi, Vallarasu Forward Block, Aadhi Thamilar Peravai, Vivasaya Thozhilalar Katchi, India Desiya Muslim League met Stalin at Arivalayam and extended their support to the DMK alliance.
