Chennai: YLG Salons co-founder, Vaijayanti Bhalchandra, was presented the “Women Entrepreneur/Engineer” award having been elected by over 21,000 students at an event held at Nagpur. The award was presented by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari.
Speaking on this achievement, Vaijayanti said, “I feel extremely privileged to be here at my alma mater. I am thankful to not just my team and our patrons for their unswerving support and encouragement, but also to my teachers from VNIT, for imparting the essential value of giving back to the society. I will always be indebted to VNIT.”
“At YLG, our belief is that class education is the foundation to bring about a radical transformation in the beauty industry. Enhancing skills and nurturing the raw talent of the young generation will always be the prime concern for me and everyone at YLG Salons,” she said.
The event took place at at Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology.
