Hyderabad: The Hyderabad police yesterday filed a case against a group of boys for allegedly using a laser-beam flashing equipment near the Shamshabad international airport.
On 16 March, while landing a plane bound for Hyderabad from Dubai, the pilot of the international airline noticed the laser beam and informed about it to theĀ air traffic controller who in turn told the airport authorities.
Police inquiry revealed that the boys were playing with a laser equipment during a birthday party near the airport. Although a case has been registered against them, it is not sure whether the beams impacted or caused any iconvenience to the pilot in landing the plane.
It is to be noted that drone cameras and laser-beam flashing equipment are banned near the airport.
