Chennai: MTC today said that buses in Chennai will operate with 50 per cent occupancy of seats.
A MTC official said that the body temperature of drivers and conductors will be checked before they take a bus.
“Passengers should wear mask will commuting. Social distancing should be followed at bus stops,” the official said.
It may be noted that while announcing relaxations in the Covid-19 induced lockdown, the State government yesterday said that buses will be operated within districts.
