Chennai: Yogi Babu-starrer Mandela which was released recently on OTT, has landed in legal trouble now.
A petition was filed in Madras High Court seeking to re-censor the movie alleging it has controversial political dialogues and caste references.
The movie is a political satire directed by Madonna Ashwin. Yogi Babu plays the lead as an underprivileged hairdresser, who becomes the gamechanger in a local body election in a village where caste politics rules the roost.
Accepting the petition, the Madras High Court has issued notices to Regional Censor Board, Madonne Ashwin and producers Chakravarthy Ramachandra, S Sashikanth.
