Ranjha Vikram Singh celebrates his birthday distributes food to the needy.Ranjha Vikram Singh has never shied away from his responsibilities towards those in need. He has been doing his bit to help the less privileged ever since the pandemic struck us. And today on his birthday, he did seva with the Gauri Shankar Seva Dal.
Ranjha shares, ‘During these times of struggle, I can only count my blessings and the best way to keep getting is to keep giving. I knew this NGO for a long time. They have done tremendous work over the years and especially during the pandemic. It was my good fortune that I got to do seva with them. I urge all my fellow citizens to follow the protocols, be it masking, social distancing, sanitising, or staying home unless it’s an emergency. We can do it and we will overcome this pandemic.’
‘The situation today is really heartbreaking. It pains me to see people losing their loved ones to COVID-19. I don’t feel it right to celebrate my birthday during such grim times. I just wanted to do whatever best I could do during this lockdown. I went for seva. I went to a gaushala in sector 45 where I went for seva from morning to lunch. It gives me immense satisfaction to do my bit in whatever little way possible. There were a lot of people standing in queue for food. And all of them were maintaining social distancing. I hope this pandemic gets over soon and the whole country gets vaccinated soon.’
