
Chennai: Education has to be value based and holistic, which enhances academic attainment, and develops students’ social and relationship skills that last throughout their lives, said Minister for Primary and Secondary Education, Karnataka, B C Nagesh.
Speaking at an event to launch smart class room to promote digital literacy in government schools, an initiative by Samarthanam with support from DXC Technology, a tech-enabled CSR initiative, he urged the students to learn and live with Covid, by adopting appropriate behaviour.
Mahantesh G Kivadasannavar, founder-trustee of Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled said, “digitisation has altered academia and students have benefitted a lot through virtual class rooms, e-Text books, and adaptive learning.”
