Vemal-Bose Venkat’s Ma Po Si gets a new title


The team behind Bose Venkat’s upcoming directorial venture, initially titled “Ma Po Si,” has officially announced a change in the film’s title to “SIR.” In a statement, the filmmakers explained that this decision was made after “careful consideration and planning to align with our vision for the project.”

The official note assures fans that “SIR” will deliver an “engaging and impactful cinematic experience.” It also mentions that updates regarding the film’s posters, teaser, and trailer will be released shortly, building anticipation among audiences.

Bose Venkat is at the helm of “SIR,” with acclaimed director Vetrimaaran presenting the film. Siraj S is producing the movie under the banner of SSS Pictures. The music for “SIR” will be composed by Siddhu Kumar, while Kannan MK takes on the role of executive producer.

This film marks the second time actor Vemal will portray a teacher, following his earlier role in “Vaagai Sooda Vaa.” The change in title is seen as a strategic move to better reflect the essence of the film and its narrative.
