At a commemorative event held at the Anna Centenary Library, CM Stalin expressed pride in the government’s accomplishments over the past four years. He stated, “Tamil Nadu is flourishing and happy under the Dravidian Model government. But, I do not insist that we have accomplished everything during the four years. There are a lot more duties and schemes to fulfil. Another year is left for this government. The Dravidian Model government will continue beyond that after winning the Assembly Polls with your (people) support. Hence, we say, ‘Glorious four years lauded by the nation; Let it continue for many more years.'”
The Dravidian Model, rooted in principles of social justice, equality, and inclusive development, has been central to the DMK’s governance approach. Under CM Stalin’s leadership, the state has launched several key initiatives:
Illam Thedi Kalvi: A volunteer-driven program aimed at bridging educational gaps by bringing learning directly to students’ homes.
Chief Minister’s Breakfast Scheme: Providing nutritious morning meals to government school students to combat hunger and improve attendance.
Pudhumai Penn Scheme: Offering financial assistance to girls pursuing higher education, promoting gender equality in academia.
Naan Mudhalvan: A skill development initiative designed to enhance employability among the youth.
Innuyir Kappom – Nammai Kakkum 48: Ensuring free emergency medical care for accident victims during the critical first 48 hours.
As the DMK government enters its fifth year, CM Stalin reaffirmed his commitment to the Dravidian Model’s values and pledged to continue working towards the state’s holistic development.
