Director Venkat Prabhu is all set to collaborate with actor Sivakarthikeyan for the first time in a new film that is scheduled to begin shooting in November 2025. The project will be bankrolled by RKFI (Raaj Kamal Films International) in association with Suresh Kamatchi’s V House Productions.

 Shooting has officially wrapped on Sardar 2, the eagerly anticipated sequel to Karthi’s 2022 hit Sardar. Director P.S. Mithran led the film, which began production in July 2024. The team celebrated the wrap with a pooja ceremony and cake cutting at Thailand’s Huahin Airport, as Karthi shared on social media:
