Chennai, Mar 31:
Edappadi K. Palaniswami on Tuesday accused the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) of portraying the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam as anti-minority to gain electoral advantage.
Addressing a rally in Kadayanallur, he alleged that Chief Minister M. K. Stalin was attempting to divert attention by framing the election as a ābattle between Tamil Nadu and Delhi,ā claiming the DMK had failed to highlight shortcomings in AIADMKās governance.
Palaniswami also cited past political alignments, stating the DMK had allied with the BJP in 1999, and accused the ruling party of copying AIADMKās manifesto.
He criticised the ā¹8,000 appliance token scheme as a āscamā and alleged that the DMK had fulfilled less than 25% of its 2021 poll promises, asserting that AIADMK would deliver on all its commitments.
