The much-awaited post-election surveys, popularly known as exit polls, for the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections are set to be released this evening, offering the first broad indication of the stateās electoral verdict.
The release of exit polls was withheld until now in accordance with Election Commission regulations, which prohibit publication of such surveys until voting across all phases is completed. With polling now concluded, media organisations and survey agencies are expected to begin broadcasting their projections after 6.30 pm today.
