The project is expected to significantly enhance fuel supply efficiency by ensuring faster, safer, and more environmentally friendly transportation of petroleum products. It is also projected to strengthen regional energy infrastructure, improve logistics efficiency, generate employment opportunities, and support long-term industrial and economic growth in western Tamil Nadu and neighbouring regions.
The meeting was attended by Subhankar Sen, Director (Marketing), BPCL, along with the Tiruppur District Collector and senior officials from Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation, National Highways Authority of India, the State Highways Department, district administration, and other key stakeholders involved in project execution. Detailed discussions were held on project status, implementation challenges, and measures required to ensure timely completion.
