Velu, Inspector of police, Velacheri, met with residents and advised them to instal CCTV cameras on the streets to prevent any untoward incidents.
Following this, the members of Tansi Nagar Welfare Association held an awareness program at St Antonys school recently.
Velu and Sub-Inspector of Velacheri police station took part in the event and explained the importance and necessity of CCTV cameras to the gathering. Tansi Nagar Welfare Association promised to instal CCTV cameras in the locality in a phased manner.
