The 105th birth anniversary of veteran dramatist late SV Sahasranamam was celebrated on recently at Vivekanandam Arangam, PSS Higher Secondary School, Mylapore.
A press release said, Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, L Ganesan, presided over the function and former State Information Commissioner, G Ramakrishnan was the chief guest on the occasion.
Dramatists Augusto, Arivanandam, CV Chandramohan and Srivatson were honoured at the venue. SV Sahasranamam’s son, SVS Kumar, also a dramatist and longtime resident of West Mambalam jointly organised the event.
