Chennai: A motorist died after his vehicle rammed against a tipper lorry at Kaiveli Junction, Madippakkam yesterday night.
According to police, Sundaresan (46), a resident of Madipakkam, who worked as a manager for a retail store in R K Mutt Road, died in the accident.
The lorry moving ahead of him had slowed at Kaiveli junction when Sundaresan rammed against it. Another motorist had also hit against the lorry in the mele. Arunmozhi Jyothi, who was pillion riding with her husband, suffered a fracture on her hand. Police arrested the lorry driver Panneer, a resident of Medavakkam. Mount Traffic Investigation has registered a case.
