Tirupati: Congress President Rahul Gandhi yesterday continued bombarding Narendra Modi with accusations and charging him with taking part in a photo shoot hours after the Pulwama terror attack.

He had first made the remark on Thursday, which gathered a storm amidst the BLP, who died the charges and termed Rahul’s comments as a lie and that he was indulging in petty politics.

Taking part at a public meeting in Tirupati, Rahul said for three and a half hours Modi had made a movie of himself and that the shoot was more important to him than helping the families of those who died in the deadly terror attack.

“…They dont have enough feeling, enough respect that 40 of our boys may be I should stop doing this and may be I should try to help them. The PM should be ashamed of his behaviour after our boys were killed,” he stated.

A Jaish-e-Mohammed suicide bomber rammed a vehicle loaded with over 100 kg of explosives into a bus carrying Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel in Pulwama district on 14 February. 40 CRPF personnel were killed and five injured in the incident.

The Congress chief further accused Modi of waiving Rs 3.5 lakh crore loans of powerful businessmen while not writing off the debts of poor farmers. He promised to accord special category status to Andhra Pradesh if it was voted to power in the coming Lok Sabha elections.

“This is our commitment. It is my commitment, commitment of the Congress, commitment of government of India that you will be given SCS,” he stated.

He further said, Modi should be ashamed of not giving people of AP what they deserve even after BJPs promise of granting SCS for 10 years.

Continuing his tirade Referring to the alleged scam in the Rafael deal, Gandhi reiterated his charge that Modi gave Rs 30,000 crore to Anil Ambani of Reliance and overlooked public sector HAL.

Rahul Gandhi had yesterday offered prayers at the hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara after trekking the nearly 10-km-long steep stairway leading to the temple.
