Indiaās Covid situation has improved after a gap of nine days. Since the beginning of the month, the country had witnessed a significant rise in the new Covid cases.
After a consistent level of 3,000 and above, the daily case count dropped below this mark on Tuesday. The official data says that the nation registered 2,288 new coronavirus cases. The active case count also dropped below 20,000-mark on Tuesday. India registered 10 Covid deaths in the last 24 hours, the government data says.
The daily positivity rate was recorded as 0.47 per cent and the weekly positivity rate as 0.79 per cent, according to the ministry.
