Chennai, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin, who was re-elected as the President of the ruling DMK for a second successive term, today said theBJP will stoop to any level to win the 2024 Lok Sabh polls and exhorted the DMK cadres not be lethargic and remain vigilant.

In his address at the DMK General Council, where he was re-elected unopposedto the top party post, Stalin said even since he took over as the Party Chief the DMK has been facing only victories. “We won the 2019 Lok Sabha poll, 2021 Assembly polls and the recent electionsto urban local bodies”, he said, adding, the DMK was capable of winning all the 40 Lok Sabha seats in the 2024 General Elections (39 in Tamil Nadu and one inUnion Territory of Puducherry) and urged the party cadres not to remain lethargic as the victory in 2024 LS polls will form basis for the DMK’s 100 per cent victory in the next Assembly elections in the State, due in 2026.
