In a bid to enhance connectivity and cater to the increasing demand for travel between Chennai Egmore and Nagercoil, the Southern Railway has unveiled a special Vande Bharat train service set to operate on select dates, including weekends and Good Friday. This exclusive service promises commuters a convenient and comfortable journey between the two key destinations.Departing from Chennai Egmore at 5:15 am on Saturdays and Sundays, the Vande Bharat train will embark on its journey to Nagercoil, reaching its destination by 2:10 pm. Conversely, the return journey will commence from Nagercoil at 2:50 pm, allowing passengers to board the train for their journey back to Chennai Egmore, where it will arrive at 11:45 pm.The route of the Vande Bharat train service will encompass several important stations, including Tambaram, Villupuram, Trichy, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudhunagar, and Tirunelveli, ensuring connectivity to major hubs along the way. This strategic route selection aims to facilitate seamless travel for passengers across various regions.Ticket bookings for this exclusive service are slated to commence shortly, as per the announcement made by the Southern Railway. Passengers are encouraged to avail themselves of this opportunity to experience the comfort and efficiency of the Vande Bharat train, known for its modern amenities and punctuality.
