After making waves at the International Film Festivals in Rotterdam and Moscow, the highly anticipated Tamil film Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai has been selected for screening at the prestigious Transylvania International Film Festival in Romania. Directed by the acclaimed filmmaker Ram, the film stars Nivin Pauly, Anjali, and Soori in the lead roles.
Nivin Pauly took to his X account to share the exciting news along with a new poster from the film. He wrote, âAfter its stellar debuts at Rotterdam and Moscow #YezhuKadalYezhuMalai continues its global journey with a prestigious selection @ the TransylvaniaFilmFestival in Romania! (sic).â
Produced by Suresh Kamatchi under the banner of V House Productions, Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai boasts music composed by the renowned Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film’s first glimpse video, released earlier this year, teased audiences with a taste of immortal love without revealing much about the plot. The stunning visuals are captured by cinematographer NK Ekhambram, with Mathi VS handling the editing.
This film marks Nivin Paulyâs third direct-Tamil project, following his performances in Neram and Richie. His portrayal in Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai is highly anticipated by fans and critics alike. Meanwhile, co-star Soori, who was last seen in Garudan, has another significant project, Viduthalai Part 2 with director Vetri Maaran, lined up.
