Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin asserted that demanding linguistic equality is not chauvinism but a rightful claim.
In a social media post, he criticized “Hindi zealots” for branding Tamil Naduās resistance as treason while pushing their own entitlement. He accused those glorifying Godseās ideology of questioning the DMKās patriotism despite its contributions to national wars.
Stalin condemned the naming of criminal laws in Hindi and the National Education Policy (#NEP) as acts of chauvinism, warning that such impositions breed enmity and threaten national unity.
