
Chief Minister M.K. Stalin held a review meeting at the Secretariat to discuss law and order in Tamil Nadu. Top officials, including the Chief Secretary and DGP, attended. Stalin also spoke to police zone heads of Central, West, and South Tamil Nadu through video conference.
In the meeting, the Chief Minister asked for detailed updates on crimes, police action, and court cases. He stressed that crimes must be prevented, and if they happen, strong action should follow.
“Even if the offender is a rowdy, a politician, or a police officer, they will be punished without delay,” Stalin said. He added that the Dravidian model government will ensure justice is done swiftly.
He also warned that the government will take very strict action in cases involving drugs, illicit liquor, crimes against women, and custodial deaths.
