A total of 25,544 students have applied for veterinary and B.Tech courses under the Tamil Nadu University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (TANUVAS) for the academic year 2025–26. The rank list of eligible candidates will be released next week.There are 7 veterinary colleges under TANUVAS located in Chennai, Namakkal, Tirunelveli, Orathanadu, Thalaivasal (Salem), Udumalaipet, and Veerapandi (Theni). These colleges offer 660 seats for the B.V.Sc (Animal Husbandry) program, which is of 5.5 years duration.
In addition, the College of Food and Dairy Technology at Koduvalli, Tiruvallur, offers 40 seats for B.Tech in Food Technology and 20 seats for B.Tech in Dairy Technology. The Poultry Production and Management College in Hosur, Krishnagiri, offers 40 seats for B.Tech in Poultry Technology. These B.Tech programs are 4-year courses.
Out of the total applications, 20,516 students have applied for B.V.Sc and 5,028 students for B.Tech programs. Registrations were held between May 26 and June 20, 2025, through the website https://adm.tanuvas.ac.in.
The application review process is currently underway, and the rank list will be published soon.
