Erode, Sept 4: Senior AIADMK leader and former minister K. A. Sengottaiyan on Wednesday dismissed media speculation that he had recently met V. K. Sasikala or plans to switch parties.

Speaking at a wedding in Perumanallur, reporters asked if he had met Sasikala or O. Panneerselvam (OPS), and whether he intended to leave AIADMK. Sengottaiyan responded firmly: “I did not meet Sasikala. I will answer all questions on September 5.”

When asked about his earlier comment about opening up his mind, he reiterated that he would fully explain his position at the party office on that date.

The ceremony, attended by former minister Thangamani, AIADMK MLA K.N. Vijayakumar, and former MP Sathyabama, saw the leaders arrive separately and avoid interaction, highlighting possible internal tensions.
