On Perarignar Anna’s 117th birthday, AIADMK leader Edappadi Palaniswami made a post on X. He said Anna stands for Tamil Nadu, for Tamil, and the Dravidian spirit.He said Anna is not only a name. He said Anna’s ideas, actions, and political honesty have been carried with pride for 53 years by AIADMK.
Palaniswami praised Anna’s leadership for accepting ordinary people. He said Anna did not depend on family rule. He called him a true leader of Dravidian politics.
He added that when people doubted if a state party could govern, or if the identity of Tamil Nadu and Tamil language would hold up, Anna gave answers through his deeds and achievements.
Palaniswami urged people to revive Anna’s politics under AIADMK. He said the party must fight against rule dominated by families. His message: protect the people, save Tamil Nadu.
