Chief Minister M.K. Stalin is set to inaugurate the third edition of the ‘TN Rising Conclave’ in Coimbatore on November 25.
The event, organized by the Tamil Nadu government, aims to further bolster the state’s industrial growth by attracting significant investments across diverse sectors including electronics, manufacturing, textiles, aerospace, and defense.
Following the success of the previous summits held in Thoothukudi and Hosur, which drew MoUs worth over Rs 32,554 crore and Rs 24,307 crore respectively, this summit underlines Tamil Nadu’s focus on decentralizing industrial development.
The government seeks to empower not just Chennai but every district by promoting local industries and attracting global investors to the region.
Coimbatore, a city renowned for its manufacturing prowess and fast-expanding IT sector, is seen as a key driver of Tamil Nadu’s present and future growth. With over 25 global capability centers (GCCs) and a burgeoning startup ecosystem, the city is attracting domestic and international firms, promising substantial employment opportunities and economic development.
Tamil Nadu Industries Minister T.R.B. Raaja highlighted that the conclave will facilitate direct interactions between global investors and the city’s skilled workforce, MSME clusters, and industrial corridors, thereby accelerating regional economic activity.
The event is expected to showcase new investment agreements and strengthen the ongoing industrial transformation of western Tamil Nadu.
In addition to the investor summit, Chief Minister Stalin will inaugurate the newly developed Semmozhi Park in Coimbatore’s Gandhipuram area, a ₹214.25 crore project spread over 45 acres intended to enhance public amenities and improve urban livability.
The upcoming ‘TN Rising Conclave’ exemplifies the Tamil Nadu government’s strategic vision to leverage industrial diversification and sustainable development.
With large-scale infrastructure projects, new investment commitments, and focus on local talent, Coimbatore is poised to emerge as a major economic hub in Tamil Nadu, extending the state’s industrial footprint beyond traditional centers.
