The pre-release event of the multilingual mega-budget film ‘45’ was held in Chennai in grand fashion, with members of the press, film personalities and fans in attendance. Produced by Ramesh Reddy for Suraj Production, the film features Dr Shiv Rajkumar, Upendra and Raj B. Shetty in lead roles and is directed by music composer-turned-filmmaker Arjun Janya.
The film has been made in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi, and its Tamil version is scheduled for release on January 1, 2026 across Tamil Nadu through AGS Entertainment.
Actor Vijay Antony was the chief guest at the event and extended his best wishes to the team. He praised Shiv Rajkumar’s dedication to the film despite his health challenges and lauded the efforts of Upendra, Raj B. Shetty and director Arjun Janya.
Producer Ramesh Reddy expressed confidence that the film would appeal to audiences. Director Arjun Janya thanked the cast, crew and producer for their support and credited Shiv Rajkumar for motivating him to take up direction.
Actors Vincent Asokan, Raj B. Shetty and Upendra also addressed the gathering, appreciating the film’s scale, teamwork and emotional commitment.
Shiv Rajkumar thanked Tamil audiences for their love and assured that the film would provide a unique cinematic experience.
