Aadhav Arjuna has clarified that there is no alliance between Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam and the Bharatiya Janata Party, dismissing ongoing speculation ahead of the 2026 Assembly elections.
Addressing the issue, he stated that reports suggesting a tie-up with the BJP are baseless and politically motivated. He reiterated that TVK, founded by Vijay, has maintained a clear and consistent ideological stand.
TVK leaders have repeatedly emphasised that both the BJP and the ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam are political opponents, ruling out any possibility of aligning with either side.
The clarification comes amid heightened political speculation, especially with multiple alliance discussions taking shape in Tamil Nadu ahead of the elections. Earlier, both TVK and BJP leaders had also denied any ongoing talks regarding a potential alliance.
