Thailapuram, Mar 21:
In a significant political development ahead of the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, S. Ramadoss and V. K. Sasikala have joined hands to form a new electoral alliance in the state.
The alliance was finalised after Sasikala met Ramadoss at his residence, with both leaders announcing that they would contest the upcoming elections together. The coalition is expected to field candidates across all 234 constituencies, positioning itself as a third front in Tamil Nadu’s evolving political landscape.
Leaders described the partnership as a “winning alliance” and indicated that more like-minded parties could join them in the coming days, potentially strengthening their electoral prospects.
The move comes at a time when major alliances led by the DMK and AIADMK are already gearing up for the polls, making the political contest in Tamil Nadu increasingly multi-cornered.
