Hombale Films has officially announced its next ambitious project titled Mahavatar Parashuraam, further expanding its cinematic vision after a string of major successes.
Known for delivering large-scale blockbusters such as Rajakumara, KGF, Kantara, Salaar, and most recently Mahavatar Narasimha, the production house has built a reputation for combining масштаб storytelling with strong cultural narratives. With Mahavatar Parashuraam, the banner aims to take this legacy a step further.
The film will be directed by Ashwin Kumar and is being produced in association with Kleem Productions, marking a new creative collaboration. The makers have announced that the film is slated for a theatrical release in December 2027.
The project is part of the already announced Mahavatar Cinematic Universe, an ambitious franchise envisioned by Hombale Films that draws inspiration from Indian mythology. Mahavatar Parashuraam is expected to play a key role in expanding this universe, building on the foundation laid by earlier announcements.
Conceived as an animatic cinematic experience, the film aims to blend advanced technology with deeply rooted cultural storytelling. Drawing inspiration from legends associated with Vishnu, the narrative is expected to bring mythological tales to life for contemporary audiences through a visually rich format.
