Chennai, June 22:

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay celebrated his first birthday after assuming office  with greetings pouring in from leaders across the political spectrum.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed his wishes, praying for the Chief Minister’s long life and good health. In his message, he extended warm greetings to Vijay on the occasion of his birthday.

DMK president M. K. Stalin also greeted the Chief Minister, wishing him happiness, good health, and continued service in public life.

Meanwhile, celebrations were held across Tamil Nadu by cadres and supporters of the ruling party, who organised welfare activities to mark the occasion. Special announcements were also made, including free public access to the Arignar Anna Zoological Park at Vandalur as part of the birthday celebrations.
