The shooting of actor Santhanam’s upcoming film ‘Love Bite’ has been completed, with the makers announcing that the film will hit theatres in December. The release date is yet to be finalised. Directed by Selvin Raj Xavier, who previously helmed the horror comedy ‘Conjuring Kannappan’ (2023), the film is expected to blend horror, comedy and thriller elements.
Produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh and Kalpathi S Suresh under the AGS Entertainment banner, ‘Love Bite’ marks the production house’s 29th film. Archana Kalpathi is the executive producer. The project went on floors in May, following the announcement of its title and first-look poster, which hinted at a story involving zombies.
Aparna Das plays the female lead, while Anandraj, Motta Rajendran, VTV Ganesh, Redin Kingsley, Adithya Kathir and Bjorn Surrao are part of the cast. The technical team includes music composer duo Foxn, cinematographer S Yuva, editor Pradeep E Ragav, art director V Sasi Kumar and stunt choreographer R Sakthi Saravanan.
Santhanam has also recently completed shooting for ‘Athisaya Piravi’, a science-fiction film featuring elements of comedy and mystery. The film also stars Gopika Ramesh, Vetri, Smruthi Venkat, Jenson Dhivakar, Redin Kingsley, George Maryan, Pradeep Antony, Fouzee and TSR. With ‘Love Bite’ entering the post-production stage, further details about its theatrical release are expected to be announced soon.
