The integrated system will facilitate the filing, processing and monitoring of appeals relating to planning and building approvals. It is expected to make the appeal process more transparent, accessible and time-bound. Chennai, Oct 31: Retired IAS officer S Natarajan has been appointed Tamil Nadu Chief Information Commissioner, with Governor R V Arlekar approving the State government’s recommendations. Four others have also been appointed as State Information Commissioners, filling vacancies in the Tamil Nadu Information Commission. S Mahalakshmi, T K Shabeer, C B Meena and P Mahalingam are the four new commissioners. According to the government order issued by Human Resources Management Department Principal Secretary C Samayamoorthy, the appointments will be for three years from the date of assuming office or until the appointees attain 65 years of age, whichever is earlier.
