Chennai: Indian Institute of Technology Madras is conducting its 60th Institute Day celebrations 22 April at 4 pm.

A press release said, CAMS Private Limited founder and a distinguished alumnus of IIT Madras, V Shankar, will be the chief guest.

IIT-M Director Professor Bhaskar Ramamurthi will preside over the function. The event will be held at Student Activities Centre (SAC).

The Institute Day is an occasion to recognise the achievements of students, faculty and staff who have excelled in their endeavours and who are at the core of accolades earned by the institute, the release said.
