Twenty three more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in Tamilnadu on Sunday, taking the total number of persons infected to 34,52,910.

Tamilnadu Health department reported 32 fresh Covid-19 cases on Friday. Of them, Chennai logged 14 cases, while there were fewer than five cases each in 12 districts.
As many as twenty-six of the 38 districts in Tamilnadu had no new Covid-19 cases and five districts reported one case each on Monday when the State added 33 new cases to its registry.
Tamilnadu on Friday night reported 37 new Covid-19 infections, taking the cases so far to 34,52,612. With zero deaths, the toll remains at 38,025.

Continuing to report downward trend in new Covid-19 cases, Tamilnadu has reported its daily infections fall below 50, with 48 people testing positive for the pathogen, pushing the caseload to 34,52,490.
Tamilnadu has recorded 52 new coronavirus cases with Chennai seeing 19. These added to a total of 34,52,442 till date. There were no deaths. Therefore, the tally remains at 38,025.
