Chennai: Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AMMK) founder T T V Dhinakaran has stated categorically that there is no way that his party would merge with the AIADMK.
Speaking to reporters at Tiruchi, Dhinakaran was reacting to Republican Party of India (A) leader Ramadas Athawale’s call on Tuesday to merge his party with the AIADMK.
Dhinakaran ruled out getting back to the AIADMK and said, “Atharkku vaippe illai.”

Speaking to reporters in Puducherry yesterday, Athawale, who is part of the NDA, appealed to the AIADMK to join the alliance as it would benefit Tamilnadu and the party.
He also made an appeal to Dhinakaran and urged him to join the AIADMK. He said Dhinakaran was his friend and that the two parties should come together to fulfil the dreams of late chief minister Jayalalithaa and win the Lok Sabha elections.
