In a significant development, the Villupuram District Principal Sessions Court has upheld the three-year jail sentence for former Special DGP Rajesh Das in a case of sexual harassment involving a female IPS officer. The court dismissed Das’ appeal on Monday, reaffirming the verdict handed down by the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court. Additionally, Rajesh Das has been granted a 30-day window to file an appeal in the Madras High Court.
