Initially hailed as a rising star in Indian hockey, Jarmanpreet’s journey was abruptly halted by a doping suspension that left his career in jeopardy during his junior days.
**Jalandhar’s Talent:** A product of Jalandharâs Surjit Singh Hockey Academy, named after the late Indian captain and World Cup winner, Jarmanpreet quickly rose through the ranks with his robust playstyle and adeptness at creating opportunities from the right flank. His early promise led to selection in the Punjab franchise of the now-defunct Hockey India League at just 18, where he honed his skills alongside global talent.
