Dhaka, Dec 31: In Mymensingh district, Bangladesh, 40-year-old Hindu Ansar member Bajendra Biswas was shot dead by colleague Noman Mia at Sultana Sweaters Limited factory in Bhaluka upazila. The incident occurred Monday evening, and Noman was arrested following an early Tuesday police operation. Witnesses reported no argument before the shooting, and authorities have launched an investigation to determine the motive. Bajendra’s body was sent for autopsy, and legal proceedings are underway. This marks the third attack on Hindus in under a week in Bangladesh and the second in Mymensingh. On December 24, 29-year-old Amrit Mondal was allegedly lynched by a mob, while on December 18, 25-year-old Dipu Chandra Das was brutally killed over false blasphemy claims. Violence against minorities—including Hindus, Christians, and Buddhists—has escalated under the Yunus-led interim government, drawing global condemnation. India expressed serious concern over the continuing hostility and is closely monitoring the situation in Bangladesh.Another Hindu man killed in B’desh
