Chennai, Mar 26:
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan said on Wednesday that the day when Edappadi K. Palaniswami (EPS) will take oath as Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu is “not far off,” asserting confidence in the AIADMK‑BJP alliance’s prospects ahead of the April 23 Assembly elections.
Speaking to party workers, Dr. Tamilisai, said EPS — currently the leader of the alliance — enjoyed strong public backing.
Tamilisai emphasised that the BJP and AIADMK were working together cohesively, and that their combined efforts would resonate with voters across communities. She said the campaign was gaining momentum and that the public was responding positively to the alliance’s development agenda.
Her remarks underline the confidence within the BJP‑AIADMK camp as political campaigning intensifies in the run‑up to the state elections.
