In a major political development ahead of the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, popular filmmaker and actor Sundar C is set to enter the electoral fray from the Madurai Central constituency.
According to reports, Sundar C will contest the election on behalf of the Puthiya Neethi Party. The party is part of the AIADMK–BJP alliance and has been allotted select constituencies as part of the seat-sharing arrangement.
