Puducherry,  Apr 3:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to lead a major roadshow in Puducherry today evening as part of the campaign for the AINRC-led NDA candidates contesting the April 9 Assembly elections.

According to Territorial Assembly Speaker R. Selvam, nearly 30,000 people are expected to participate in the one-hour roadshow. Modi will arrive at Puducherry airport from Chennai by helicopter around 4:15 PM and proceed directly to Ajantha Junction, from where the roadshow will commence.

The roadshow will cover a stretch of about 1.7 km along Anna Salai, culminating at Anna Square, with large crowds anticipated to line the route.

Selvam also announced that former Tamil Nadu BJP president K. Annamalai will campaign in the Manaveli constituency. Additionally, BJP national president Nitin Nabin is scheduled to visit Puducherry on April 5 and will also campaign in the same constituency.
