Director Venkat Prabhu posted a picture of himself with Ajith in his twitter handle recently. This let loose rumours that the two are coming together the sequel of their blockbuster hit Mankatha.
Venkat Prabhu has said that he will be joining hands with Ajith again, however, he added that he is not sure if they will be doing a sequel to Mankatha.
Ajith is currently busy shooting for the Tamil remake of the Bollywood hit Pink. It is produced by Boney Kapoor. The makers are trying to finish the movie as soon as possible as they want to release the movie on 1 May, which is Ajith’s birthday.
Ajith is most likely to act in another movie which will be also be produced by Boney Kapoor. Looks like only after completing these two projects will Ajith begin work with Venkat Prabhu. Meanwhile, Venkat Prabhu is working on Maanaadu that has Simbu and Arjun Sarja in lead roles.
