There were reports in a section of press that Kamal Haasan starrer Indian 2 has been shelved. The mega budget movie, bankrolled by Lyca Internationals and helmed by Shankar, went on floors earlier this year.
However, it was shot for only a couple of days of shoot. Sources close to Kamal Haasan say that Indian 2 has not been shelved. They say that shoot will begin in June.
It is said Kamal Haasan will host Bigg Boss 3 and also work simultaneously on Indian 2. Since it is a big venture and cast is yet to be finalised, Shankar is planning to release it in January 2021.
Indian 2 is a sequel to earlier hit that featured Kamal Haasan as a crusader against corruption. It was directed by Shankar.
