Indian Overseas Bank, a prominent player in the banking sector, successfully hosted the Atal Pension Yojana (APY) Outreach Programme in collaboration with the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA). The event took place in Chennai District at Vani Mahal, Chennai, with robust participation from esteemed officials and institutions.

A press release said,”The distinguished line up of participants included Pravesh Kumar, Chief General Manager of PFRDA, who graced the occasion with his presence. The event also welcomed Mohan M, Convenor of SLBC-TN & General Manager of Indian Overseas Bank, representatives from RBI and NABARD, as well as various State Government officials, contributing to the significance of the gathering.”

“The programme was marked by the enthusiastic involvement of various banks operating in Chennai District, as they actively facilitated the enrolment of individuals into the 4832 APY. Moreover, the event served as a platform for the enrolment of individuals into the 6470 PMJJBY (Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana) and 37817 PMSBY (Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana) schemes, highlighting the comprehensive approach towards social security,” the release added.
