Startling revelations on two maternal deaths in Madurai GH Hospital / Government Rajaji Hospital (GRH) done by Madurai Collector MS Sangeetha revealed that the doctors at the government hospital manipulated the case sheets and patient records after the deaths. “The Obstetrics and Gynaecology (OG) department of GRH had fabricated in their favour the case sheets of patient Semmalar, who died on September 2, and the record of patient Kuppi, who died on September 5. Hospital/GRH- Doctors fabricated case sheets& patient records after deaths, the collector said.
