The Greater Chennai Police Commissioner, Mr. Sandeep Rai Rathore, recently inaugurated a series of modernized facilities at the Armed Reserve Complex (AR Complex) in Pudupet. The inauguration ceremony marked the unveiling of a modernized police welfare food canteen, material store hall, and other amenities aimed at enhancing the welfare and efficiency of police personnel stationed at the complex. One of the key highlights of the inauguration was the unveiling of a modernized police welfare food canteen, which replaces the old facility that was lacking in adequate space and amenities. The new canteen is equipped to cater to the needs of police personnel with enhanced facilities and services. In addition to the canteen, a material store hall was also inaugurated, providing a centralized location for the storage and distribution of essential supplies and equipment for police operations. This facility is expected to streamline logistical processes and improve efficiency in resource management. The inauguration ceremony also addressed infrastructure challenges faced by the AR Complex, particularly regarding accessibility. The entrance gate road of the Pudupet AR-1 complex was reported to be in poor condition, hindering access to the AR Duty Deployment office and police quarters. In response, a new road spanning a distance of 152 meters was constructed by the Chennai police in collaboration with the India Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL). @@@@@
