Tamil Nadu Governor R.N. Ravi expressed his admiration for the renaming of the cultural center in Jaffna, Sri Lanka, after the revered Tamil poet and philosopher Thiruvalluvar. Renaming it as the ‘Thiruvalluvar Cultural Center’ is a significant step in spreading the glory of Tamil, one of the worldâs oldest living languages and cultures.”
Governor Ravi highlighted that this renaming reflects India’s commitment to preserving and promoting Tamil heritage. “This is another milestone in the Prime Ministerâs continued efforts to celebrate and propagate the pride of Tamil language and culture worldwide,” he added.
