Chennai: Want a comprehensive training in cyber security fundamentals, network security and artificial intelligence application or AI application etc in modern cyber defence, then Chennai based Anna University or AU could be the right choice for you!!
The latest news is that AU would be providing a separate short term course in cyber security in the AI era for the students of computer science and information technology
It has been confirmed by some sources from AU that this new cyber security course would start from the second week of February. The AU campus would provide comprehensive training for the students in the above mentioned fields.
It is noteworthy that full time UG and PG students must have a CGPA of 8.0 and above from engineering colleges affiliated with AU. Point to be noted is that the students must have 100% in the attendance and score 80% in the test for certification.
The students would be trained in various subjects in this short term cyber security course such as fundamentals of cyber security, basics of cryptography, cyber security principles and framework, networking basics of cyber security, network vulnerabilities etc.
There would be an introduction to other important subjects like web security, secure software development, ethical hacking and penetration testing etc. Information gathered is that the cyber security course would be offered to the students with a tie up with Electronics and Information Technology.
